WordPress menus are different than they used to be and I think this is a fantastic new feature of the latest updates of WordPress (3.0x).  The ability to add both pages and categories to any menu spot, anywhere in your theme, allows for so much flexibility in creating a CMS style website instead of a simple blog.

WordPress Video Quick Tip – Adding SEO Friendly Meta Tags to Posts

This quick tip comes courtesy of a question emailed in from a client, Jeff Young of JeffYoungPhotography.com.

Jeff sent in a question regarding adding tags to posts in his WordPress Content management System photography website…

Hi Scott,
Got a question about tags, when I have Dashboard opened to Posts the only place I have tags visible is in the Corporate category, all the others show “No Tags” how do I add more tags to the Posts page.

Obviously, adding tags and meta data to any website is important, but optimizing a image heavy photography website is most important if attracting organic search engine traffic is a goal of your business. Adding as much content as possible to your SEO tools on any site is important, luckily in WordPress these tools are very easy to access.
